Before You Buy: Pre-Purchase Guide for EAs and Indicators

Who We Are and What We Sell

We are a third-party seller, not the original developers or owners of the Expert Advisors (EAs) and indicators offered on this website.

Our products are supplied as unlocked versions at reduced prices, typically $10–$20, for testing and evaluation. They may differ from the original licensed versions in functionality, compatibility, support, and access to updates.

Product images, performance reports, and promotional materials come from the original sellers or developers. We have not independently verified their accuracy or authenticity. Historical results, screenshots, and backtests do not guarantee future performance.

We do not provide financial advice or guarantee profits. Trading involves risk, and any EA or indicator can generate losses.

Exception — FXShop24 Exclusive products: items in our FXShop24 Exclusive category are developed by our own team. For these products we provide full assistance, official support and updates directly.

Before You Buy

Please make sure that you:

  • Research the product. Review its strategy, requirements, available documentation, and limitations before purchasing.
  • Understand the software. You should have a working knowledge of forex trading, MetaTrader, EAs, and indicators.
  • Plan to test on a demo account. Evaluate installation, operation, and performance before considering real-money trading.
  • Have realistic expectations. No trading robot offers guaranteed returns or a reliable shortcut to becoming wealthy.
  • Allow time for trading conditions to occur. Some EAs trade frequently, while others wait for specific market conditions. Allow at least 72 hours of testing during market opening hours before concluding that an EA is not opening trades. If you encounter installation errors or error messages, contact support promptly.

Product Limitations, Updates, and Support

Compatibility and Product Lifespan

Unlocked products may stop working following MetaTrader updates or other software changes. We do not guarantee lifetime functionality or compatibility with future platform versions.

Updates

If an updated unlocked version becomes available to us, we will provide it. Availability and delivery times are not guaranteed, and some products may receive no further updates.

For official licensing, developer support, and updates under the developer’s terms, purchase directly from the original seller.

Evaluation Purpose

These products are offered for testing and evaluation. If a product meets your needs and you wish to continue using it, we encourage you to support its developer by purchasing an official license. Describing a product as intended for testing does not establish permission to use or redistribute it.

Installation and Security

Some products require additional installation steps or DLL permissions. Review the requirements before purchasing.

Do not disable antivirus protection or exclude files from security scanning simply to complete an installation. If your security software flags a file, stop the installation and seek clarification before proceeding.

Refunds

Refunds are available for products confirmed to be defective or nonfunctional. Ordinarily, we require at least 72 hours of testing and reasonable troubleshooting to assess the issue. Please provide relevant error messages, screenshots, or platform logs.

Trading losses, disappointing returns, or infrequent trading do not, by themselves, establish that a product is defective. We do not guarantee profitability.

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.

How to Evaluate an EA or Indicator

1. Use Backtesting as an Initial Assessment

Backtesting can help you understand a strategy’s historical behavior, but its reliability depends on data quality, trading assumptions, and the way the strategy is implemented. It may not fully reproduce live spreads, slippage, execution delays, or news-related conditions.

Treat backtests as one part of your evaluation, rather than proof of future profitability.

2. Forward-Test on a Demo Account

Run the product on a demo account for several weeks or months to observe its behavior across different market conditions. A short test may confirm that the software operates, but it cannot establish long-term reliability.

Cent accounts still involve real money and should not be treated as risk-free testing environments.

3. Monitor Automated Trading

Automation still requires oversight. Check platform connectivity, trade execution, account exposure, and whether the EA is operating within its intended conditions.

Follow the strategy’s instructions and avoid making impulsive changes in response to individual losing trades.

4. Evaluate Settings and Risk

Assess trading sessions, supported instruments, position sizing, drawdowns, and relevant settings. Keep records of any changes so you can compare results consistently.

Only consider live trading once you understand how the product works and the risks involved. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.
